The Cathcart Spring Proms
After soprano Jo Appleby sang ‘Song to the Moon’ from Dvořák’s “Rusalka”, she was joined by tenor Wynne Evans for a “Madama Butterfly” duet, ‘Vieni,vieni, la sera’. The last item before the finale was ‘I vow to thee my country’, that ghastly hymn fashioned from part of Holst’s The Planets. Conveying quite the wrong mood – ‘Jupiter’ is, after all, ‘the bringer of jollity’ and not maudlin patriotic sentiments.

Southampton Boat Show 2015
Join Jo at the UK's largest purpose-built Show marina in the late summer sunshine. With 100s of boats and craft to see (new, old, and bargains), you're spoilt for choice! Jo will be performing on the main stage several times during the afternoon. Hope to see you there!

Rochester Castle Proms 2016
Jo will be singing alongside The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (RPCO) at the wonderful Rochester Castle Proms. The RCPO was formed in 1987 and has built up an international reputation in its own right. Performing in the major concert halls and concert venues in the UK and around the world, from China and the Far East to North and South America, the RPCO is known for its versatile programming of classical, light classical and popular music.
